CHARITABLE GIVING:

From the moment of our founding in 1882, the charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are Catholic men of faith and men of charitable action.
​
Nationally, Knights' charitable donations approach $200 million annually. In addition, Knights of Columbus participate in charitable services, volunteering more than 75 million man-hours of practical assistance each year to individuals and to worthy organizations which in turn then help individuals -- what the Church calls subsidiarity.

"We are answering Pope Francis’ call to go to the peripheries,” Supreme Knight Carl Anderson has said. “We can reach halfway around the globe to help those in need and we can reach our neighbor next door. And we do that every day. That makes us witnesses to the faith."
